Travel-o-rama (aka brrrrrr)
If you know me, you know that flying is not my favorite thing to do. But I also love going places so not flying is not an option.
In the last 35 days of 2007 I’ll have flown about 20,000 miles – still have one more trip before I get there, but I’m close.
The other thing most people know about me is that I really like sunny, warm places. Beaches. Outdoor bars. T-shirts, shorts and flip flops.
All of the travel I’ve been doing has been to cold places. Serious cold. The temperature has not been above 40° in any of the places I’ve been to and the next place I’m going is currently 19°. When I get there on Sunday the high is expected to be 10°.
It looks like this cold weather travel may continue into the new year. There is talk of sending me back to Munich for work. And maybe a trip to Russia. Very exciting. Very cold.
