T minus 12

The guys from Delancey St. will be here in about 12 hours to put all my worldly possessions on a truck and take them to Rockridge. I’m not quite done packing yet, but the vast majority of the living room, kitchen and my clothes are ready. Which means that other than unhooking the TV from the DVR and the XBox they can start in the living room while I finish the bedroom and bathroom.

The cat is at a kennel for the next couple days. He’s been freakin’ out but good this week. Hasn’t let me sleep much so I’m really looking forward to finishing up a few things tonight and then crashing hard.

I have a lot of stuff. That’s what I’ve learned in the last 4 days. To look at my apartment, you wouldn’t know that I have so much stuff. But apparently I do.

I also learned that my back can hurt. A lot. Ouch.

The next blog post will be from the new digs in Oakland. Unclear about when the internets will be working there.
