There is an International Federation of Competitive Eating – http://www.ifoce.com/. How did they sponsor a lobster eating contest that I was unaware of? Life is not fair.
They also held a bean eating contest recently, with participants named Cookie Jarvis and Yellowcake Subich. Feel free to suggest nicknames for me in case I’ve finally found my sport. BigBeer Shaw?
But really the records speak tons. Here’s a taste:

Some cool Sims – these are some of the coolest Sims that people have been making for the new game.
I ordered a new T-shirt today that isn’t logo-ware. I’m so excited.
How was your Friday the 13th?
How can you not want to play that?
Dog Toy or Sex Toy? I got an 11 out of 14 in the warm-up round and only 7 out of 14 in the difficult round.
This is just plain wacky. But, not nearly as fucked up as this.
Dinner last night was yummy. Cooking bacon on a grill is a good thing. 3 bottles of wine. 4 people. yeah. yum.
I got home from the movies last night to find a big ass racoon blocking entry to my apartment.
Ya know how you work all week long… and then you spend the evening with some friends, see a pretty good movie and want to come home and crash out? That’s how I was feeling last night as I was walking towards my place. And that’s when I saw the racoon sitting in front of my door. I called UIBoy (formerly known as Wedding Boy) and he got to sit on the phone with me while I outwaited the fat fuzzy thing. Finally the ‘coon waddled off and I rushed towards my door with my keys jangling and trying to make some noise.
If I wanted to see animals and stuff, I’d move to the fucking country.
i know i need to keep on truckin’ for the next 6 or 7 weeks. i need to keep my energy up at work and stay the course until the game ships/site launches. i’m gonna need a break after that… except that i don’t think i’m going to get one. but i won’t have to work saturdays after september 24th-ish, but i’m really looking forward to going back to 5 day work weeks.
i hope i sleep tonight. not sure what the insomnia is about, but i keep waking up at 4 am and watching whatever is on tivo. this morning it was Amish in the City. it used to be that i considered reality tv to be a guilty pleasure, except now i just watch ‘em. i don’t even feel guilty anymore.
someday i will own another house. and when i do the first thing i will do is install one of these. thanks for the link, Big Daddy.
