so, i’m running XP at work and realized that the stylesheets for my blog look wonky on IE for XP. my humble apologies for that. i’ll get around to fixing that soon, I hope.

and I really don’t understand japanese fashion

yeah, i know that my site doesn’t look the same in different browsers. the most frightening thing for me is that it looks the best in IE. me? making stuff that looks good in a Microsoft product? truly terrifying…

i have been a friend of the consumer culture this week. i’ve been a shopping fool – going a little crazy with the newly found income thing. i’m typing this blog entry on my very new, very small Powerbook and tomorrow I’ll head off to work in my very new, very silver Honda Civic. Yeah – I test drove and loved a Mini-Cooper but in the end the sensible Caryl won out and I went for the cheaper, reliable, sensible car. smart move, but the Mini-Cooper S is a HOT car and I still want one.

Life is good. Work is fun, but challenging and compelling. Again I find myself at a company filled with smart inspiring people (with lots of women at the top of the management chain). yeah. so good.

the job is going well, and i’m enjoying the work and the perks. i’m afraid i won’t be the best about updating my blog now that i’m working again – there’s a lot of things i’m going to be less good about doing, i’d imagine.

playing The Sims for PS2 (which is my new toy of the week), SimCity4 (at work anyhow – my home computer can’t take it), and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (violent, but kinda cool – an uncharacteristic game for me)
