i’ve come to the realization

i’ve come to the realization that Network Solutions is the devil. i’ve been trying to get them to change my contact address on my domain for over 4 months. i finally got them to change my email address – but only after a good three hours on the phone with them. i hate them. i’m trying to get them to let me transfer my domain to register.com. advice is welcome

i hate sprint, too. but in a whole different way. at least sprint let me change my address when i moved.

other companies i hate: carl’s jr and kentucky fried chicken. carl’s jr because their advertisements are disgusting. and kfc makes me sick. every time. haven’t eaten their chicken in years, but why try again. sick. really sick.

other companies i sometimes hate: epicentric because they layed me off and that sucked. i wish they’d sell the damn company so my stock would turn into something i could really use right now. like money. ok. maybe i don’t hate them. but i’d really rather have some money than wonder who they’ll lay off next.

post Pride exhaustion has set

post Pride exhaustion has set in. i do believe i drank less this year than ever before. got a tummy ache on saturday night that was most unfortunate timing. it was a great Pride overall – many good friends and had a blast with the new girl – she rocks my world. the dyke march was mostly a shuffle and we ended up at the mexican place on market instead. saw more of the parade this year than i ever have – and somehow had a front row seat for much of the two and 1/2 hours we watched. every year i say it and maybe next year i’ll do it – get down early enough to see dykes on bikes, really see them, not standing in the back drinking beer with my pals.

next up, 4th of july. party in the park. opening shifts on the 4th and 5th so probably not a lot of consumption of celebratory beverages.

broke down today and ordered the new version of Photoshop. that should pretty much be the last of the apps i need so i’ll never need to boot into OS 9.x anymore! scary, i know, but that excites me.
